Welcome! I’m Gabi, the founder of Gabi Childcare and an experienced NYC educator with more than 30 years of hands-on work supporting children of all ages and abilities. I built this company to give families dependable, high quality childcare and household support rooted in trust, safety, and developmentally aligned support. As a parent, grandparent, and longtime NYC resident, I understand how important it is to have reliable and flexible care that adapts to real life schedules.

Our inclusive team of professionals specializes in early learning, STEAM activities, household support, and special needs care. We proudly serve children with emotional, behavioral, sensory, and developmental differences—including ADHD, autism, speech challenges, and physical or health limitations. We follow a no phone policy, maintain strong communication, and prioritize meaningful engagement with every child.

My passion for childcare and family well being led me to expand Gabi Childcare into a multifaceted service that supports every corner of each community. We now offer premium event childcare, corporate care programs designed to strengthen employee support, and curated collaborations with exceptional professionals across education and care industries.

Before founding Gabi Childcare, I tutored hundreds of individuals from children to adults. I also taught over three decades in both in the New York City public school and private school systems. With a strong academic background in math and science, I bring analytical thinking and hands on creativity to our STEAM program. My background allows me to blend structure, creativity, and behavioral insight into private care that elevate the Gabi Childcare experience for everyone. Families often call me the “child whisperer” for my calm approach and ability to build instant rapport. I’m also a holistic nutritionist, organic chef, and life coach dedicated to wellness and balanced living.
