Greetings! I'm Gabi, an experienced educator and the proud founder of Gabi Childcare. With over 30 years of hands-on experience in education, I established this company to deliver exceptional care and support to children of all abilities.

Gabi Childcare helps families achieve a healthy life balance by offering reliable childcare services tailored to their needs. As a NYC parent and grandparent of a large family, I understand firsthand the importance of dependable and flexible childcare. We carefully vet individuals to build a team that prioritizes child development and wellbeing.

Our diverse team of childcare providers enjoys engaging with children, offering not only basic care but also age appropriate STEAM focused projects. We have experience supporting children with a range of special needs, including emotional and behavioral disorders, dietary restrictions, speech and language impairments, physical limitations, sensory impairments, developmental delays, ADHD, and autism. Our team is trans inclusive and regularly undergoes professional development to stay current with child development trends.

At Gabi Childcare, we uphold a no-phone policy to ensure focused attention on the children in our care.

I am known for my effective communication, exceptional planning skills, and a positive, proactive mindset. As a retired New York City Public School teacher's assistant with extensive tutoring and caregiving experience, I am often referred to as the "child whisperer" due to my patience and ability to connect with any child.

In addition to my background in education, I am a holistic nutritionist, organic chef, and holistic life coach who lives and promotes a holistic lifestyle. Currently studying science, I initially developed a passion for math and science in high school. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering, exercising, yoga, swimming, meditation, podcast listening, reading, sports, and cooking. I reside in Midtown West, Manhattan.
